Cabinets suitable for storing flammable liquids or aerosols in laboratory surroundings, warehouses, industry etc.
The cabinets are tested by SP for external fires in accordance with test method 2369 class 1. The cabinets have also been subjected to ventilation tests for through-ventilation and to show that vapours from chemicals cannot leak out. The cabinets also comply with Möbelfakta’s very strict requirements for surface durability.
The entire cabinet is made from strong steel sheet. Doors, sides, top and bottom have a sandwich structure with fire insulation in-between (Brandbatts 150 in accordance with NT FIRE 001 and ISO 1182:1990). The cabinets can also be fitted with an insulated back. This is appropriate when they will not be standing against a wall made form non-flammable materials. The doors are recessed in the frame. The handle is provided with a breaking point. A stop is welded on to the inside of the doors on the hinge side. This is to make it difficult for anyone to break in by removing the hinges. The doors are fitted with a reinforcing profile that, when the doors are closed, touches the shelves. This is both to prevent the doors from being knocked inwards and to protect the espaniolett lock. The cabinet is fitted with a strong espaniolett lock, ASA cylinder lock with two keys as standard. The cabinet can be hung on the wall and it is then delivered without a base.
It is delivered as standard with adjustable shelves, which have upturned edges and sealed corners to stop liquids from running off if there is any leakage. The cabinets can also be fitted with a bottom tray, if you want to store large cans. Ventilation duct with longitudinal hole, allowing all of the shelves to be ventilated.
