The door closer is mounted on top of the door leaf with a sliding rail fitted to the top front edge of the cabinet. This provides smooth and easy operation of the door and does not take up any storage space as you can place goods all the way up to the top.

LED lighting that provides a clear, bright light and covers the entire display surface of the cabinet. Lighting is the most important option for increasing the sales of goods and, together with the door’s framing, highlights the goods in an optimal manner that distinguishes itself from traditional display on standard shelves.

The lighting consists of 2 LED strips that are fitted along the entire right and left-hand side. The transformer is concealed behind a cover plate to the upper left of the cabinet, and the cable to the 230V outlet runs out through the top to ensure it is easy to connect to existing lighting. The lighting has low energy consumption and a very long service life.

The hinges are concealed which gives a cleaner design to the front of the cabinet. They are adjustable in height and width, which allows you to make adjustments later if needed.

Robust and easy-grip handles that make the door easy to open and close. The handles are painted in the same colour as the cabinet to ensure they do not distract attention from the goods, but rather contribute to the cabinet as a whole providing a smooth and even impression.

The frame consists of two layers of sheet metal with moulded, solid, fire insulation in the middle layer, which provides a rigid, strong frame. The outer sheet only contacts with the inner metal at the front edge, which means that fire insulation is a single unit, which gives the frame excellent fire protection. Thanks to the cast insulation, the cabinet’s weight distribution also prevents it from tipping forwards when you open the door, so it does not need to be anchored to the wall.

Adjustable legs under the cabinet make them easy to move around with standard pallet movers, and are also adjusted to ensure the cabinet stands level on the floor. As some products are sold at different rates depending on the season, it is a major advantage to be able to move the cabinets easily in the shop to ensure maximum display of the right goods at the right time.

The dimensions of the cabinets are designed to meet shop standards where the idea is to replace an existing shelf section with a cabinet. Available in two heights for 900 mm wide sections, and one height for 1 000 mm wide sections. It is also possible to fit the cabinets with frames in different sizes to suit other shop measurements.

The door has a rounded bent edges for a smoother appearance, and to remove any sharp edges and corners on which you might otherwise catch or cut yourself. The design also means crushing injuries at the rear edge are also prevented. The door is placed on the outside of the frame, which means that there are no gaps between two cabinets that stand next to each other.

For example, if you place several cabinets next to one another, it has the appearance of a permanent installation, in the same way as a dairy cabinet or similar, where the focus is on the goods in the cabinets rather than the actual cabinets. The door design also creates a smooth and neutral backdrop for the goods to be displayed in the cabinet, and together with the lighting highlights the goods in the best way.

The colour scheme is neutral, which helps to promote the goods in the cabinet instead of the actual cabinet. Of course, we can also supply cabinets in the colour you prefer to best suit your shop environment. The cabinets are powder coated both on the exterior and interior in RAL 9010 as standard. The technique of using baking enamel on the cabinets gives them a smooth and durable surface that is easy to clean and ensures a long service life.

The fire-rated and safety-assured large glass surface and transparency mean that all goods are displayed in the best way.

The SGS series is suitable for storing the most common storage bottles, 1 litre, 1.5 litre and cans of 4-5 litres. The interior height and width of the entire cabinets can be used in an optimal way. The SGS 330 and SGS 460 models hold nine 1 to 1.5 litre bottles along the width and 4 in the depth on each shelf, giving a capacity of 144 bottles for SGS 330 and 216 bottles for SGS 460. We have chosen not to make the cabinet deeper inside than 4 bottles in depth as it is important that even the innermost bottles are readily accessible to the customer.

The SGS 990 is designed to hold a half pallet, 800 x 600 mm, and to still have a shelf at the top. When a half pallet is used, we place a pallet base in the bottom of the cabinet to take the half pallet. Alternatively, the SGS 990 can be fitted with 5 adjustable shelves which gives you a storage capacity of 480 x 1 to 1.5 litre bottles.

The door hinging on the cabinet is optional and without surcharge, but, as standard we have chosen to deliver the cabinets with a left-hinged door as opening the door with your left hand and picking the goods with your right hand is most natural (assuming you are right-handed, of course!) .

The cabinets have adjustable shelves as standard, means it is easy to customise the heights on each shelf to fit the desired height of the goods. We supply cabinets as standard with flat shelves but there is the option for tray shelving, which consists of a collection tray underneath with a perforated shelf above. This means any spills from leaking bottles etc. do not run into the cabinet, but stop on the shelf in question. These shelves can also be fitted with dividers that allow you to split up the goods on the same shelf. There are also special shelves for aerosol spray cans and similar products.

We powder coat the cabinets for the highest possible finish and an impact resistant surface with a long service life. This also means it is easy for the staff to clean the cabinet when necessary, which is important for the general impression and improves the presentation.

The door can be mounted directly on the frame via concealed adjustable hinges. The edges on the door are specially bent, making them round instead of square. This gives a softer feel to the door while also reducing the risk of injury.

Safety-assured glass with high transparency that is cleaned just like normal glass. The large glass surface means the contents of the entire cabinet are displayed in the best way.

The door is punched from just two sheets of metal, which are then pushed together. This ensures a stable construction and a smooth and even framing of the goods on display. The corners of the door are rounded off to produce a softer appearance, and to remove all sharp edges on which you might otherwise cut yourself. The design also means that there is no possibility of crushing injury in the rear edge of the door.

Our frame has a much higher fire-rating than required by the SP2369 test. Nevertheless, we have chosen to use this design, as we can use the same frame in parallel for both our SP2369 cabinet and our SA series of fire-rated filing cabinets, which have been tested, approved and certified in accordance with NT Fire 017 fire-rating 60P. This also meets the requirements for 60 minutes of separate storage, which is also a requirement for the storage of flammable products.

The glass is fire-resistant according to EI30, providing the best possible protection in the event of a fire. This is a higher classification than required by the Swedish SP2369 test, but since this solution is also used in other countries where the requirements are stricter, we have chosen this solution as our standard. The glass is also safety-assured to minimise any possible risk of injury if the glass is broken. Maintained in the same way as normal glass by window cleaning to provide the best transparency.

Strong frame that consists of an outer frame and an inner frame with moulded fire insulation material in the middle layer. This provides a stable structure that does not twist but remains straight, thereby eliminating, for example, the door hanging open or similar effects. It also provides a weight distribution that prevents the cabinet from tipping forwards when you open the door and, thus, it does not need to be anchored.

All cabinets in the SGS series are tested, approved and certified by SP in accordance with test SP2369 Class 1. The test consists of 4 sub-tests, external fire, internal fire, load test and tightness test.

Tightness test

The collection tray is filled with water and the inside of the cabinet is coated with water using a spray nozzle for a set time in order to identify any tightness deficiencies in the cabinet. We do this to ensure that flammable liquids do not leak out of the cabinet in connection with a fire or a general leak from the bottles.

Load test

The cabinet is filled with the maximum number of bottles, and the cabinet is then checked to ensure it does not shift or is otherwise unable to withstand the load of the material in the cabinet. Thanks to the one-piece cast frame, we have extremely stable cabinets that withstand heavy loads for long periods.

Internal fire

The cabinet is filled with flammable liquid that is then ignited. The door is held open for 60 seconds, which means there is a fully developed fire inside the cabinet.
